Marcelo Bastos

I'm passionate about building systems and turning ideas into real, working solutions. While my main interests lean toward backend development and data analysis, I enjoy stepping into frontend work when a project calls for it. My work often sits at the intersection of design and engineering, where functionality, clarity, and usability come together.

Right now, I'm a Junior Developer at Webtech_ and a Data Scientist at Centro Infantil Progredir, my day to day tasks involve contributing to the development and maintenance of ongoing projects, as well as, dealing with data - from the database to the model development + studying Computer Engineering at ISPTEC. These roles have given me hands-on experience across different areas and a clearer sense of how real-world systems work.

In my spare time, I'm a Co-Founder of ORB3X. If not, I'm usually playing sports, experimenting with side projects, or diving into something new to learn. I like staying curious and exploring anything that helps me grow both as a developer/data scientist and as a person.
